MPDISCOUNT attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law No. 78-17 “Informatique et Libertés” (Data Protection Act).

2. Data We Collect
- Identity and contact data: last name, first name, postal address, email address, phone number.
- Order data: products ordered, amount, purchase history, delivery and billing address.
- Payment data: processed directly by our secure payment providers; we do not store your credit card numbers.
- Account data: identifiers if you create a customer account.
- Technical and navigation data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, cookies and similar identifiers.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Order management, deliveries, returns, and customer service – basis: contract performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Invoicing and accounting obligations – basis: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).
- Customer account management – basis: contract performance / consent.
- Sending newsletters and commercial communications – basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a), revocable at any time.
- Audience measurement, personalization, and advertising via cookies – basis: consent.
- Site improvement, security, and fraud prevention – basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
4. Recipients of the Data
Your data is intended for MPDISCOUNT's authorized internal departments and our subcontractors working on our behalf, including:
- our host and e-commerce platform (Shopify);
- our carriers for delivery;
- our secure payment providers;
- our emailing, order tracking, and audience measurement tools.
These providers only use your data under our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Transfers Outside the European Union
Some providers may process data outside the European Union. In such cases, these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses of the European Commission or adequacy decision) to ensure an equivalent level of protection.
6. Retention Periods
- Order / billing data: kept for 10 years for accounting and tax obligations.
- Customer account data: kept as long as the account is active, then deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
- Prospecting / newsletter: until consent is withdrawn, then a maximum of 3 years after the last contact.
- Cookies: maximum 13 months from their deposit.
7. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights: right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to define directives regarding the fate of your data after your death.
